The first year of college at UW-Timberwood presents a whole new world for Joanna Conors.  Here she meets Avrie Daniels, the greatest roomie ever, and the girls immediately become best friends.

UW-Timberwood is great for Avrie, who left her hometown vowing to never look back, but Joanna is still trying to keep up with her comfortable life from Woodland Hills.  Phebe’s maintenance of the headlines, the Toy Store’s busy holiday season, and the mixed signals she’s getting from her new college friend, Scott, are enough to keep Joanna on her toes.  Though her new life in Timber Hall offers the security Joanna needs, she craves being back home more than ever.

Timber Hall – Joanna and Avrie’s dorm building – is where two new best friends navigate life during their first year of college together.  Here we see what true friendship really is: something that Avrie had never experienced before, and something that Joanna could never have survived without.
